The movie mogul and legendary NWA co-founder says there’s no debate when it comes to who is better between Kobe Bryant and Lebron James
On the eve of Kobe Bryant’s double jersey retirement ceremony at the Los Angeles Staples Center, rap legend and filmmaker Ice Cube gave his two cents on the Bryant vs. Lebron James basketball greatness debate.
In an exclusive interview with TMZ Sports, the 48-year-old “Straight Outta Compton” producer said he would go with Bryant over James “all day.” Cube knows a thing or two about basketball being a high-powered benefactor behind this year’s BIG3 basketball league launch, which mostly consists of players who are retired NBA legends.
The league’s first televised games kicked off in June of this year to much fanfare.
When a TMZ Sports interviewer asked Cube who he would put in his starting lineup first between Bryant and James, the Friday co-star answered, “Kobe.” He also gave some rationale for his answer.
