A three-year-old toddler is in critical condition after being shot in the head.
The toddler was shot during a road-rage altercation in Port St. Lucie over the weekend.
According to Port St. Lucie police, the child was in the passenger seat of the vehicle when the road rage began around 2 a.m. Sunday morning.
Brewing from the road rage, a shooting broke out, and the three-year-old was shot in the head.
The child was immediately airlifted to St. Mary’s Hospital and is still in critical condition.
According to police, the suspect vehicle is a black, newer model, four-door sedan. The driver is a possibly Hispanic or light-skinned black man.
