Student Sends Teacher Email Telling Her It Is Extra Credit Season

If You Don’t Ask, You Don’t Get! Student Sends Teacher An Email Telling Her It Is Extra Credit Season And Earns Himself And His Classmates An Extra 20 Points For Making Her Laugh

A student became a class hero after he emailed his teacher asking for extra credit and managed to get his request granted for the whole class.

Deondre Wallace, from Kansas City, Missouri, sent a begging note to Dr. Christen Moore in which he claimed it was ‘extra credit season’.

His cheeky request – which also included lyrics of The Black Eyed Peas song Where Is The Love? – was rewarded with an email, shared on Twitter, offering Deondre and his classmates 20 extra credits.

‘I know in your syllabus it says in bold and all caps “no extra credit, so don’t ask” yet here I am anyways.

‘I’ve been doing the math, to keep my A I have to get a 97 per cent on the final and we both know that’s not happening.’

He then quoted two verses of the Black Eyed Peas song before asking: ‘Where is the love Dr. Moore?’
