Orlando Marks The 1st Anniversary Of The Pulse Nightclub Massacre

A year ago Orlando shooting victim Eddie frantically text his mother ‘I’m gonna die’ and “I love you’ as he was held hostage in the Bathroom at the Pulse nightclub. His mother later collapsed and was carried out on a stretcher at his open casket funeral.

Forty-nine people were killed along with Eddie, and more than 50 others were injured on June 12, 2016, when a gunman opened fire on the gay nightclub.

Today the city of Orlando, in collaboration with the Pulse nightclub, declared today Orlando United Day: A Day of Love and Kindness.
