Nike Does It Again In A Collab With LeBron James Allowing 3 Black Women To Design The Shoe, Selling Out Within Minutes
Nike has been on a roll, first with Colin Kaepernick’s campaign and now allowing Lebron James to create a masterpiece with three black women. Nike teamed up with Lebron James and designers of Harlem Fashion Row to create the LBJ 16 sneakers.
The three women Kimberly Golson, Undra Ducan, and Fe Noel created the white and gold shoe with Meline Khachatourian, Nike’s global basketball footwear designer. This is the first time women have worked with Lebron on a basketball shoe design. The shoe was released the morning of September 7th on the Nike SNKRS app and sold out in less than five minutes!
Designer Fe Noel took to Instagram to share the great news. “You guys are amazing, sold out in less than 5 minutes xxFe.”
