The internet celebrated a big win once Kevin Hart was announced as the host for the Oscars awarding ceremony.

But his legal issues may hinder him from doing so.

The Blast obtained court records showing a New York judge declined Hart’s request to have the lawsuit be dismissed.

According to the judge, Hart’s former partners ‘iGo Marketing & Entertainment’ provided enough information to continue the case’s process.

The judge stated, “The Court concludes that the defendants have failed to establish entitlement to judgment as a matter of law and that there are material and triable issues of fact presented and thus the motion for summary judgment must be denied.”
