New report exposes a number of known white supremacists who plan to run for political offices in this year’s mid-term Congressional election.
An age-old threat, which has tarnished America’s existence for centuries is still trying to insert itself into the modern governing establishment.
According to a Sunday (February 11) report from The Grio, a list is cirulating of white male candidates with ties to Neo-Nazi and Ku Klux Klan-linked domestic terrorist groups who are seeking political offices during the 2018 mid-term election season.
However, white supremacists with links to domestic terror organizations getting elected into office is not anything new.
During the era of the Civil Rights Movement of the 1950s and 1960s, George Wallace, the former Governor of Alabama won consecutive terms as a gubernatorial candidate despite the fact that he was a diehard segregationist. He also strongly voiced his support for the Jim Crow laws, which marginalized American blacks in the worst way.
