Limo Crash That Kills 20 People Is The Deadliest US Transportation Since 2009

A limousine carrying several couples to a birthday party ended in a tragedy. The limo reportedly failed to stop at an intersection before striking a parked vehicle and slamming into a tree.
The accident killed 20 people. The incident has been declared the deadliest transportation accident in the United States since 2009.
The limo was traveling on State Road 30 in Upstate New York when it collided with an SUV in a parking lot around 2 p.m on Saturday.
All 18 people in the limo, including the driver, were killed. Two pedestrians near the SUV were also killed.
Valerie Abeling spoke with CNN and said that her niece, Erin Vertucci and her husband, Shane McGowan, were inside the limo during the crash. The two were just married in June.
