Court Rejects Bobby Brown’s Attempt To Stop Bobbi Kristina From Airing

Unfortunately for Bobby Brown, it appears that TV One’s Bobbi Kristina biopic will air on Sunday as scheduled.

According to a statement from TV One, Bobby’s lawsuit against the network, which attempted to block the TV movie from premiering on October 8, was tossed out on Friday.

The statement reads, “The court rejected a motion for a preliminary injunction filed by Bobby Brown and the Estate of Bobbi Kristina Brown that sought to enjoin the network’s airing of the original movie Bobbi Kristina. We are pleased with the court’s ruling and look forward to sharing this poignant look at the life of Bobbi Kristina Brown with our audience.”

Bobby alleged in his lawsuit that TV One “knowingly and maliciously used his persona and life in the movie and promotion of the film” and that it “contains defamatory and untrue depictions” of him and his relationship with late daughter Bobbi Kristina and late wife, Whitney Houston.
