A California Waiter Told A Group Of Latina Women He Could Not Serve Them Until They Showed Proof That They Were From America.
A California woman, her sister and, two friends went to a Southern California restaurant for a girls day. They went out to Saint Marc, an upscale restaurant in the seaside city of Huntington Beach, CA.
The waiter walked up to the women and said they needed to show proof of residency in order to serve them, “I need to make sure you’re from here.” he said. The women initially handed over their ID’s but then anger started to set in when they realized what was happening.
They walked over to the manager and told him what had happened. He offered them a separate section and his business card but they decided to leave anyway. A few hours later, one of the women, who is a 24-year-old business analyst from Orange County, CA, posted about the incident on social media asking for everyone to share her story with their friends.
