‘My daughter was humiliated’: Mother slams school after her 12-year-old was told her skirt was distracting to boys and looked like it was for ‘clubbing’
A South Carolina mom was ‘fed up’ after her 12-year-old daughter was publicly shamed for wearing a shirt deemed ‘too short’ at school — when it actually complied with the dress code all along.

Mother-of-three Suzie Webster was incensed when she got the call last week that her daughter Reese Franyo needed her to come to Moultrie Middle School in Mount Pleasant with a change of clothes, after a teacher told her that her mid-length denim skirt was more appropriate for ‘clubbing’ than school.
Having it out with the school’s principal, Suzie said her daughter shouldn’t have been ‘humiliated’ in front of her classmates — and more importantly, young girls shouldn’t be taught that they are responsible for the way boys behave.
The worked-up mom says she’s not against dress codes in their entirety, but the sexism — and what it’s teaching the next generation — need to stop.
