Caitlyn Jenner said on Sunday that she has ‘considered’ running for one of California‘s US Senate seats because she likes ‘the political site of it’.
The Olympic gold medalist and transgender activist said that she’s currently looking into where she can do a ‘better job’ of promoting LGBT rights.
‘Over the next six months or so, I gotta find out where I can do a better job,’ Republican Jenner, 67, said while speaking on a radio show over the weekend. ‘Can I do a better job from the outside?
‘Kind of working the perimeter of the political scene, being open to talking to anybody? Or are you better from the inside, and we are in the process of determining that.’

When asked if she would run for the Senate, she told told John Catsimatidis on the Cats Roundtable radio show: ‘I’ve considered it. I like the political side of it.’
Jenner, who came out as transgender in 2015 and says she voted for President Donald Trump, said that she’s been working with the American Unity Fund to help GOP lawmakers better understand LGBT issues.
