American Idol finalist Curtis ‘C.J.’ Harris arrested in drug sting
He finished sixth on season 13 of the wildly popular American Idol.
But things have seemingly gone downhill for Curtis ‘C.J.’ Harris, who was arrested on drug charges on Thursday, according to Us Weekly.
The 25-year-old vocalist was taken into custody for allegedly selling oxycodone and marijuana to a ‘confidential informant.’
He was arrested along with 11 other suspects during the sting, and charged with three counts of felony distribution of a controlled substance.
Bail has been set at $90,000.
C.J.’s arrest was apparently part of a larger drug bust operated by the Walker County Sheriff’s Office, TMZ also reported.
The Sheriff’s Facebook page revealed that the Narcotics and Swat Divisions ‘conducted a drug distribution and warrant roundup.’
Said roundup resulted in the execution of 18 warrants, 14 of which were drug related.
The department also released a mug shot of the singer, which shows him dressed in what is presumably an orange and white jumpsuit.
